A community litter pick will take place weekend of the 12 & 13 June. 10 - 4. (this is the same weekend as the school Safari walk) Please to come to the hub to collect your litter picking equipment.

Update on Local Centre consultation

Charterpoint and the Drummond Trust would like to thank everyone for their comments about their proposals for Local Centre One. Now the consultation period has closed, Charterpoint and Drummond will carefully review all of the feedback over the next few weeks, following which they will give a further update on the proposals.

Tommy silhouette

Tommy silhouette

The Tommies have now been taken down. They will be put back up on other remembrance occasions.

Lubbesthorpe Parish Council have placed some Tommy silhouettes around Lubbesthorpe to commemorate VE day on the 8th of May.

Thank you to The Land Trust for giving permission to install them around pond 1.

Thank you also to the Barratts site office for help with the installation.

Blaby District Council are the Collecting Authority for Council Tax. Blaby District Council only set the rate for the BDC part of the Council Tax and only collect on behalf of the other organisations.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday 9th April 2021 at Windsor Castle.
