Get vaxxed – enjoy being back, the new local campaign created to encourage young people to get their Covid-19 vaccinations has launched today. The campaign has been developed for younger people, with younger people (aged 18-29) to help them feel safe and confident as they begin to enjoy activities that have been restricted for a long time in a bid to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

On Saturday 21st August, Lubbesthorpe Alive CIC will be staging a Community Picnic for all residents.

As part of this event, LocalGo will be staging an obstacle race for teams of four people.

The aim is to transport a number of objects across a given distance, without touching the ground.

As part of the Great British Spring Clean Lubbesthorpe Parish Council and Lubbesthorpe Alive are organising a litter pick.

Please come along to the Hub on Saturday or Sunday 10-4 and collect your litter picking equipment. You can then litter pick at a time and place convenient to you.
